SELEX SI: NATO MAJIIC – second phase development contract

SELEX Sistemi Integrati signed a contract with TELEDIFE for the development of the second phase of the MAJIIC (Multi-Sensor Aerospace-Ground Joint Interoperable ISR Coalition) programme. MAJIIC is an international multilateral cooperation programme issued by the Ministries of Defence of countries belonging to NATO. Its main task is the definition of a common architecture allowing the development of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. The operations will be realised by using a wide range of systems and sensors already in use by the Armed Forces of the countries involved. In the MAJIIC programme SELEX Sistemi Integrati will develop the new ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) technologies for national systems based on applications for command, control, communication and intelligence, surveillance, acquisition and target reconnaissance (C4ISTAR).
