SAIC: 84M$ to Support Naval Air Systems Command

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has been awarded a contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Corporate Operations and Comptroller Offices with a full range of organizational and business services. The multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options and a ceiling value of $84 million for all awardees. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md. and at NAVAIR sites as required.

NAVAIR’s Corporate Operations and Comptroller Office serves the U.S. Navy by providing a wide variety of business services to other competencies, commanding officers, site managers, and integrated project/program/enterprise teams. Under the contract, SAIC will provide professional and analytical support services to NAVAIR, as required, by defining and helping establish commercial business best practices to enable the NAVAIR Team to enhance performance and reduce costs. SAIC will also provide support in areas including management; organizational and business improvement; financial and business solutions; and human resources.
