EUROSAM bids for Turkish Air Defence System
Turkey’s defence procurement office removed MBDA from a blacklist last month after an international legal dispute between the Ankara government and the French missile maker ended amicably. One immediate effect: Eurosam, whose shareholders include MBDA, Thales, Finmeccanica and BAE Systems, will be allowed to bid next month against Chinese, U.S. and Russian rivals for Turkey’s multibillion-dollar program for long-range antimissile air defence systems.
