Finmeccanica: 130M$ contracts for security

Finmeccanica has won contracts with a total value of approximately 13 M$ million through its companies DRS, SELEX Sistemi Integrati and Elsag Datamat.

Specifically, DRS Technical Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Finmeccanica Group company DRS Technologies, was awarded a $77 million contract to provide technical assistance to the United States Army and allies as they withdraw from the country of Iraq.

SELEX Sistemi Integrati has been awarded a EUR 25 million contract with the Turkish Undersecretariat for Maritime Affairs to construct a VTS (Vessel Traffic Management System) in Turkey to monitor and manage sea traffic.

Elsag Datamat has signed a contract worth EUR 14 million with Aeroporti di Roma to build the new baggage handling system at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino airport.
