First NATO Communications and Information Agency Industry Conference

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) in partnership with AFCEA Europe’s TechNet International and under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence, Italy, hold its first Industry Conference from 23-25 October in Rome, Italy

The Agency’s senior leadership and prominent Industrial representatives debated, with an audience of about 600 senior Transatlantic Industry leaders on trends in NATO C4ISR, cyber and missile defence.

The conference was mainly focused on the scope and the description of the new agency, formed on the 1st of July

The NCI Agency, resulted from the melding of the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A); the NATO Air Command and Control System (ACCS) Management Agency (NACMA); the NATO Communication and Information System (CIS) Services Agency (NCSA); the Active Layered Theater Ballistic Missile Defense (ALT BMD) program; and elements of the NATO Headquarters Information, Communication and Technology Management (ICTM) directorate along with other programs.
