GD $750M to Provide C4ISR for US European, Central and Special Operations Commands

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic to provide worldwide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Information Technology (IT) support to its European Office and its Combatant Command and Unified Command customers. The five-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a potential value of $750 million to all five awardees, if all options are exercised.

General Dynamics will engineer, design, develop, install, test and maintain a wide range of communication networks and systems for the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM), U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) and U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Additionally the company will provide program management, technical support and integrated logistics services, including equipment fulfillment and tracking, in support of C4ISR efforts.

“With this contract, General Dynamics will deliver trustworthy IT services and C4ISR test and evaluation support to meet the operational requirements of the Department of Defense and other U.S. government sponsors worldwide,” said Zannie Smith, senior vice president of General Dynamics Information Technology’s National and Homeland Security division. “We have the expertise needed to support SSC Atlantic and provide cost-effective analysis and reliable communication and management for its customers as they strive for security and strength across more than 70 nations.”

SSC Atlantic is a Department of the Navy organization reporting directly to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command located in San Diego, California. SSC Atlantic designs, acquires, engineers and sustains the systems, sensor connections, cyber network infrastructures and knowledge management services to ensure reliable information is available to only those who need it, where and when it is needed.
