F-35: interview to Lt. Gen. Domenico Esposito, Heads of the IAF’s Procurements at the General Directorate for Air Armaments.

Gen. Domenico Esposito, Chief of Armaereo, summarizes the key stages of the genesis and development of the Italian participation in the Program F35, highlighting the reasons for the choices made as regards the Joint-forces and the international environment.

In particular, Gen. Esposito explains the reasons for joining the program analysing the issues raised during the development phase. He also talks about the participation of the Italian industry as a major player in the production of F35 in the context of the agreements signed with U.S. companies.

Finally, Gen. Esposito analyses in detail the peculiarities of the Final Assembly and Check-out Facility (FACO) of Cameri (NO), both in terms of productive capacity and jobs promotion and as result of international agreements.
