Gregory S. Martin appointed to Alenia North America’s Board of Directors

General Martin retired from the Air Force after 35 years of service on active duty. Prior to his retirement, General Martin served as Commander, U.S. Air Force Materiel Command. General Martin has served overseas on multiple assignments. Martin served as Commander, U.S. Air Forces Europe and Commander, NATO’s Allied Air Forces Northern Europe. After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1970, Martin began his career in Southeast Asia as a fighter pilot. He has held command positions 6 times and served in Headquarters, U.S. Air Force as the Air Force Director of Operational Requirements just prior to his assignment as the Principal Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. He is a command pilot with more than 4,500 flying hours.
